First Date

Kamryn had her first date with Daddy tonight. Our church had a Princess Ball, which is our Daddy/Daughter dance. When Ben first mentioned this to Kamryn last week she lit up and she has been talking about it everyday since then. With all that has happened the last few weeks we have learned not to take any of these moments for granted. We are so blessed! Here are a few pictures from the first of many dates with Daddy.

What you can do for Roderick and Kamara

Friends,
Words cannot express the gratitude the family feels from friends and family for all the love, support, and mostly prayers that have been lifting the Cox family up the past couple of days. It is very evident that God is hearing your prayers! Please keep it up.

Many of you have approached us with the question "What can I do?" Well, first and foremost would be to continue to take Baby Cox to the Throne of our Savior. Pray for this sweet baby to continue to fight and thrive. Pray that Kamara and Rod will be able to see the truth and life in every single day. Pray that Kamara and Rod will be able to minister to other and that others will minister to them through similar experiences.

"What can I do?" This is such a great question because to be honest with you, Kamara and Rod are still trying to figure out for themselves what they need. After talking to some people which have been in similar situations, we have learned some things that would be beneficial to them. So here is what we have come up with to request from our Brother and Sisters out there. Cash. We still don't know about insurance or how much cash out of pocket they will be out; we will worry about that we when come to it.

For right now, over the next several months the Coxes will be making numerous trips back and forth to the hospital. So, it would be awesome to have cash to buy giftcards for them. We will present giftcards for gas, groceries, and fast food or maybe from time to time a house cleaning. It would also be encouraging for Kamara and Rod to know who is supporting with these gift cards, so if you could send them a note of encouragement with a family picture. If you just want to send an encouraging note and prayer, it would be great, too.

If you are interested, you can send Tami Pruett or Liz McGregor the encouraging notes with pictures of your family. You can also send money to either one of us to put together a basket of giftcards during this time. We would also like to use some of the money to go towards their house being cleaned. If you already have our address you can go ahead and start sending them our way. We would like to put this together soon for them. If you don't have our address you can email either one of us and we will give you are address to send us your money, pictures, and encouragement cards. Our addresses are tam.pruett@yahoo.com or liz_mcgregor00@yahoo.com. You can also leave a comment and I will send you our addresses that way.

Thank you so much for your support! It is appreciated more than you can imagine! Baby C is already changing lives and hearts and I can't wait to see what God has in store for this little miracle.
In Him,
Tami Pruett (Twin sister) and Liz McGregor (good friend)

Baby Cox

Please be in prayer for our friends, Rod and Kamara. Kamara went into labor last night at 24 weeks and had a sweet baby girl at 1 lb 10 oz. Click here for a link to their blog for updates. We are asking God and believing in Him for a miracle for this little girl.

New House

We made the move into our house two months ago. We still have boxes to unpack and rooms to decorate but it's definitely livable. The kids are starting to get used to having their own space upstairs. For a while they wouldn't go up there alone but we are slowly getting them acclimated....maybe they will even sleep in their rooms one day soon. I am shooting for sometime before they enter high school. Here are some pictures of the building process.

Our family and small group came over after the house was framed and blessed us by writing scriptures and prayers everywhere. It was such a special thing for us to come by and see what people had written. I am so happy we have the Word written on our walls!
