Tonight we went to dinner after church. Grant was happily eating his ice cream at Jason's Deli when he turned to me and said with a BIG smile, "Mommy, you fell out of the ugly tree."
I gasped and Ben sternly said, "Grant, where did you hear that?" He answered that he heard that on Tarzan today. After a few seconds of shock we both just busted out laughing. Grant looked confused and then laughed along with us. After we calmed down I told him that he is never to say that again. He said, "Say what again? What did I say?"
Alrighty then.
Do I need to clarify that he had no idea what he was saying?

That's HILARIOUS!!! It's always funny to me the things that kids pick out from movies.
SO funny! C and L LOVE Tarzan... maybe I should rethink letting them watch it! :)
LOL! I can just see it. He's too funny! I've seen most of the Tarzan episodes he watches, and I've never pulled that out. He doesn't miss a thing, does he?
I had on the TV the other day watching something with my 13 year old step-son and the "B" word was used in a funny voice. Well Zane liked the way it was said and started saying that phrase. I about died and was horrified that he would say it again, which he did. I tried not to make a Big deal about it, but he siad it a third time and Lawton and I both told him how bad it was. Lawton reinforced how bad it was b/c he tends to listen to big brother more than MOM!!
That cracks me up!! I hate those moments when we should be the grown ups... but just laugh because there is nothing else to do! xoxo Mandi
Don't worry Liz, you definitely didn't fall out of the "ugly tree"! :) Diadra
BAHAHAHAHAHA! SO funny! Out of the mouths of babes...
I know that if Grant knew what that meant, he wouldn't be saying it to you! :)
