Have I mentioned we're moving? Probably not since it seems I've taken a blogging hiatus. Well, we are and it's a tad nuts around here. Let me catch you up...
Back when I posted "My Prayer" we were in the hospital with Ben. He came down with a very serious staph infection and ended up in the hospital for four days. When we took him to the doctor he mentioned several times that this was life threatening and we needed to get to the ER immediately. That rocked us a bit and it was a very emotional and long week. Thankfully we had family and friends who stepped in and watched our kids, brought us meals, snacks, movies and just surrounded us with love and prayers. I've never been more thankful for the people in our lives as I was then. Ben was off of work for eight days so we spent a lot of time together as a family and really ended up having some good bonding time.
A few weeks later we had Kamryn's 2nd b-day party. We knew it was risky to have a party at our house on a Saturday when we were trying to sell but we didn't have much choice since it was raining. We had planned to have it at the park but that wasn't happening. We got a call the morning of the party that we were having a 2nd showing right as the party was to end. So everyone (it was a small party but just a few people in our house feels like a lot since it's so small)pitched in and helped clean up. We made sure the house was spotless and shoved everyone out the front door just as the people were walking up. We sold the house that day! We were so pumped!
A few more things have happened since then like my birthday and Father's Day. I hope to post those pictures once the dust settles and I find my camera. It's somewhere amidst the sea of boxes...I hope.
All of this brings me to moving week. After months of looking at pre-owned homes and finding nothing we were interested in, we have decided to build a house. We drove through the neighborhood and absolutely fell in love with it. We are moving in with my mom and Angie and Kevin for a while until our house is done. We will go back and forth between their places so we don't wear anyone out. Our house should be ready in November although I am still hoping for October. I'm so thankful for our family taking us in for a while. So we move out this weekend. We are eating on paper plates and walking around boxes right now but it will all be worth it when we are settled in our new place.
More to come....pray we don't lose our minds over the next few days. It's hot out there, people!

Give me tips on how to not be super stressed while building!! I'll learn from you!!! Good luck!
Can't wait for you guys to join me. I get lonely at times, you know?! Promise me we'll have some Rummicube nights. Love you.
That is so exciting! Can't wait to see the new place. Enjoy living with the family in the interim -- I'm sure moving around so much can get tiring, but how fun to be so close to family! Thinking of you all.
SO excited for ya'll- can't wait to see it. Love you!
Hope the moving went well!! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
Praying for ya'll and the building process! Miss you!
