First Day of School

***update: I took Grant to school this morning and he cried (screamed is a better word for it) when I dropped him off. It was totally out of the blue. I thought he was loving school but when I started to tell him bye he held onto my leg and wouldn't let go. So after me trying to talk him down it just got worse and I had to leave him there extremely upset. It was so hard to walk out of there with him that worked up. I left with both of us crying. They said he calmed down after chapel. That was almost two hours after I dropped him off. Hopefully he was just tired and this was a one time thing. Poor little guy! When I picked him up he said he was sad because he missed me and it was a long time at school. He said he isn't sad when I leave for a short time. Please pray for my sweet little man! I'm not sure I can do that again.

Last week Grant started back to school. He was a little anxious on the way there but once we got to his classroom he warmed up and had a great first day. When I picked him up he was so excited that the four year old room doesn't have nap time. He is still talking about that this week.
He was being shy when we dropped him off so he wouldn't pose for a picture. This was the best I could do.
They start everyday off by writing in their journals. Doesn't he look big holding that pencil?
Kamryn is pretty happy to have Mommy all to herself for a few hours. They are so excited to see each other when we pick Grant up each day.

Liz, I will be praying for you and Grant. I know it is so hard for htem and us too. I have not experienced that with Zane at school but with our MOPS group mostly. He hates going and since I am coordinating this year I feel so bad that I just can't go get him and us go home. I do feel, however, that because he is so upset and it doesn't happen anywhere else that his little spirit must pick up on something that I don't. So, please pray for me and Zane on the 2nd Friday of every month and I'll be praying for ya'll daily.
